What is the Quebec Tournament?

Quebec Interational Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament

The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament is the "World Championship of Pee-Wee Hockey". About 2300 young hockey players (11-12 years old) from 16 countries come to Quebec to compete from February 11th to 22nd at the Pepsi Coliseum. During the 11 days, crowds totaling around 200,000 fans come to watch these young hockey players.

Many stars from the National Hockey League have played in this famous tournament: Guy Lafleur, Marcel Dionne, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Eric Lindros...just to name a few. Throughout the two weeks, the Jr. Sharks will be paired up and housed with a family from Quebec; therefore enhancing the overall experience of this tournament.

Jr. Sharks Schedule

The boys will play about a game a day. They will be competing in Classe AA (the classes are C, B, and AA...and there are 2 divisions of AA). Their first game is on Friday, February 13 in the evening. Here is the bracket to follow (you will have to download it to view).
