Bags packed, boarding passes printed....

It is hard to believe...tomorrow morning at 7:45am, 15 California hockey players, representing the San Jose Jr. Sharks Hockey Club, will be boarding an Air Canada flight and heading to Quebec City for the 50th Quebec International PeeWee Hockey tournament.
There seemed to be a lot of prep work by all the families today in order to get their player ready to go. Some families opted to purchase another set of skates, so their player would have a pair to wear for pond hockey and a pair for the tournament games. Some families found themselves shopping for last minute winter clothing - for they didn't realized that they player grew out of the boots & snow pants they had. All families ran through many different check lists - spending money (check...but need to convert at airport)....extra socks & underwear, just incase laundry isn't done....stick tape...exta hockey socks...toothbrush & toothpaste...school books & notebook paper, and so on.
While the parents were running around "like chickens without a head", the excitement in the players increase throughout the day.
"I hope I can get some sleep," one player remarked, "for tomorrow I will be in Quebec and ready to play hockey in Canada!"
